| What
we believe...... |
| |
There is only one God
(father) who made the world and who loves each one
of us |
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came into the world as
a man to show us what God is like.
Through his death on the cross he took on himself the sins of the
world and so removed the barrier between us and God. |
God gave us his Holy Spirit to guide us and
empower us day by day. |
The Bible is God's
divine, inspired word. It tells us that there is only
one way to God, and that is through Jesus Christ. |

Our
life together......
The Church is not a building, it is us, the people. The
building is simply a place where the church meets.
However, our life is much more than meeting together on Sundays. |
Jesus taught us that, as Christians his
father is also our
Father, and therefore we are part of God's family. We meet
together
at various times for Bible Study, prayer, coffee evenings and social
events. |

Our
Sunday worship......
Sunday is the day when the family of God comes together to
worship God, to hear what he has to say to us through the teaching
from the Bible and to talk to him in prayer. |
We aim to find a style that balances the formal and the more
traditional with worship that is open and informal using different
styles of worship from our 'parent' denominations. |
We welcome all ages to our services.
Children are welcome at all our services. We do not run a 'Sunday
School' or 'Children's Church' but we do have people who provide quiet
activities for them should they not want to stay in the service. |
| |
Our mission statement.....
To build a worshipping community of Christ-Centred people
communicating the Gospel of Jesus |
